G. L. c. 66, § 10(c); G. L. c. 66, § 10(d)(iv); see also 950 C.M.R. 32.06(4). As required by law, it is my understanding that the Department furnished a copy of the petition to the requestor, Denise Vivolo. G. L. c. 66, § 10(c); G. L. c. 66, § 10(d)(iv)(2). On May 14, 2024, Ms. Vivolo requested body worn camera footage of a specified incident. This request was the subject of a previous petition from the Department. See SPR24/1471 Determination of the Supervisor of Records (May 21, 2024). In my May 21st determination, I found that the Department may assess a fee for segregation or redaction. In an email to this office on June 5, 2021, the Department states that its “June 4, 2024 petition is a duplicate petition of the May 14, 2024 petition in regards to requestor Denise Vivolo request for Body Worn Camera Videos from March 24, 2024.” In light of the above, and where the Department’s request was previously addressed in my May 21st determination, I find it is unnecessary to opine on the Department’s June 5th petition.
