The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records June 20, 2024 SPR24/1772 Jayne Boissonneault Town Clerk Town of Dracut 62 Arlington Street Dracut, MA 01826 Dear Ms. Boissonneault: On June 13, 2024, this office received your petition on behalf of the Town of Dracut (Town) seeking an extension of time to produce records and permission to charge for time spent segregating or redacting responsive records. G. L. c. 66, § 10(c); G. L. c. 66, § 10(d)(iv); see also 950 C.M.R. 32.06(4). As required by law, the Town furnished a copy of this petition to the requestor. G. L. c. 66, § 10(c); G. L. c. 66, § 10(d)(iv)(2). One June 10, 2024, the Town received a request from Lisa Lanteigne for: [A] list of all contracts, agreements, grants, [and] emails between the [T]own and the following groups…[:] [1.] The Northern Middlesex Council of Governments (NMCOG)[;] [2.] Barrett Planning Group, LLC[.] Subsequent to the opening of this petition, I learned that Ms. Lanteigne agreed to modify the scope of her request. In an email to the Town on June 13, 2024, Ms. Lanteigne states, “I will refine my request and resend soon.” Conclusion In light of the above, I find it unnecessary to opine on the Town’s time and fee petition. Accordingly, I will consider this matter closed. One Ashburton Place, Room 1719, Boston, Massachusetts 02108 • (617) 727-2832 • Fax: (617) 727-5914 sec.state.ma.us/pre • pre@sec.state.ma.us
