The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records August 5, 2024 SPR24/2077 Dawn Porter Town Clerk Town of Boylston 221 Main Street Boylston, MA 01505 Dear Ms. Porter: I have received the petition of Angela Mero appealing the response of the Town of Boylston (Town) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On May 24, 2024, Ms. Mero requested, “Executive Session Minutes and All Supporting Documents for 5/15/23, 6/27/23, 7/17/23, 8/21/23, 10/23/23, 11/20/23, and 1/18/24[.]” The Town provided a response on June 5, 2024, providing records and withholding additional records. Unsatisfied with the Town’s response, Ms. Mero petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR24/2077, was opened as a result. It is my understanding that the Town intends on providing a further response to Ms. Mero to address the records request. Accordingly, the Town is ordered to provide Ms. Mero with said response in a manner consistent with this order, the Public Records Law and its Regulations within ten (10) business days. A copy of any such response must be provided to this office. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of the response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. Ms. Mero may appeal the substantive nature of the Town’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records cc: Angela Mero Stephen F.
