See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On July 9, 2024, the requestor sought “a copy of every financial-related evidence transaction that [an identified individual] was involved with, witnessed, or conducted on behalf of the Lawrence Police Department during the calendar year ‘2023” as follows: [1] Dates and times of bank deposits of cash ... [2] A complete copy of the evidence & property visitor log book: for the 2022 & 2023 calendar years. [3] Copies of all bank financial records: associated with the Evidence & Property Section for the calendar year 2023. [4] ... copy of the most recent financial audit, reconciliation, or evaluation ... [5] Current status: of each cash related cases that [an identified individual] was associated with during the 2023 calendar year. Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, the requestor petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR24/2119, was opened as a result. Subsequently, on July 25, 2024, the City produced records responsive to Items 1, 2, 3, and 5, of the request. Due to the fact that the City has produced certain records and now has additional time to produce the remaining requested records, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. The requestor may appeal the substantive nature of the City’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
