Harris, Esq. appealing the response of the Wareham Police Department (Department) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On July 22, 2024, Attorney Harris requested, “[a]ll documents and materials… relating to the October 1995 murder of [a named individual] in Wareham.” The Department provided a response on July 23, 2024. Unsatisfied with the Department’s response, Attorney Harris petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR24/2214, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Department provided a supplemental response on August 7, 2024. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the Department’s July 23rd response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed.
