See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On July 9, 2024, Mr. Stowik requested “any and all information and documentation pertaining to the status of the application submitted by… [a named individual] of Pawtucket, RI 02861… the date, if any, that a decision to approve or deny [the] application was made… transcripts of any correspondence between the 3rd party testing and applicant vetting company, PSI, and Massachusetts Board of Examiners pertaining to [the] application.” Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Mr. Stowik petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR24/2259, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Division provided Mr. Stowik with a response dated August 8, 2024. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the Division’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Stowik may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
