Assistant District Attorney Records Access Officer Norfolk District Attorney’s Office 45 Shawmut Road Canton, MA 02021 Dear Attorney Hunt: I have received the petition of Thomas Murray appealing the response of the Norfolk County District Attorney’s Office (Office) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § l0A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On August 14, 2024, Mr. Murray requested: Any and all written letters or email communication or any other record of communication, including phone logs between your office and any staff in your office, to include District Attorney ... specifically pertaining to communications between the Kraft Investigations Group, . . . Boston, MA (or ... individually) involving either [identified individuals] of Canton Massachusetts, currently employed by the Massachusetts State Police. On August 14, 2024, Mr. Murray provided a date range “from July 2nd, 2024 to present.” The Office responded on August 14, 2024. Unsatisfied with the Office’s response, Mr. Murray petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR24/2462, was opened as a result. In an email dated August 29, 2024, Mr. Murray informed this office that he wishes to withdraw his appeal. Accordingly, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed.
