Box 405 725 Front Street Chicopee, MA 01020-0405 Dear Ms. Colberg: I have received the petition of Jonathan Gerhardson appealing the response of the City of Chicopee Electric Light Department (Department) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On September 11, 2024, Mr. Gerhardson requested, “...copies of invoices and payments to [an identified individual] and ...LLC for work performed responding to public records requests filed by Jonathan Gerhardson from [an identified] email address.” The Department provided a response on September 17, 2024. Unsatisfied with the Department’s response, Mr. Gerhardson petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR24/2608, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Department provided a supplemental response on September 30, 2024. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the Department’s September 17th response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Gerhardson may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s September 30th response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
