G. L. c. 66, § 10(c); G. L. c. 66, § 10(d)(iv); see also 950 C.M.R. 32.06(4). As required by law, it is my understanding that the Department furnished a copy of the petition to the requestor, Kyle True. G. L. c. 66, § 10(c); G. L. c. 66, § 10(d)(iv)(2). On September 11, 2024, Mr. True requested “…bodycam footage of a June 18, 2024 incident…” Subsequently, in an email to the Department and this office on September 18, 2024, Mr. True states “... [we] will send payment ASAP...” In light of the above, it is unnecessary to opine on the Department’s petition to charge for time spent segregating or redacting responsive records.
