See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On August 7, 2024, Mr. DeWitt requested, “[records] related to the Town Owned Parking Lot Currently Leased to the Steamship Authority sometimes referred to as Church Street Lot.” Previous Appeal This request was the subject of a previous appeal. See SPR24/2441 Determination of the Supervisor of Records (September 3, 2024). In my September 3rd Determination, I learned that the Town intended to provide a supplemental response. The Town responded on September 17, 2024, providing some responsive records, but withholding others under Exemption (i) of the Public Records Law. See G. L. c. 4, § 7(26)(i). Unsatisfied with the Town’s response, Mr. DeWitt petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR24/2635, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned the Town intends on providing a supplemental response. Accordingly, the Town is ordered to provide Mr. DeWitt with said response in a manner consistent with the Public Records Law and its Regulations within ten business days. A copy of any such response must be provided to this office. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of this response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. Mr. DeWitt may appeal the substantive nature of the Town’s response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
