G. L. c. 66, § 10(c); G. L. c. 66, § 10(d)(iv); see also 950 C.M.R. 32.06(4). As required by law, it is my understanding that the Department furnished a copy of the petition to the requestor, Jeffrey Auerhahn. G. L. c. 66, § 10(c); G. L. c. 66, § 10(d)(iv)(2). On September 10, 2024, Mr. Auerhahn requested: [D]ocuments, including, but not limited to, memorandum and emails, authored by, sent to or received by members of the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Veterinary Medicine and employees of the Board and/or Division of Professional Licensure concerning audit reports of [an identified individual] and the scope of her responsibilities, as well as request for termination of probation by [an identified individual] during the time period of December 12, 2018 through June 29, 2020. Subsequently, in an email to the Department and this office on September 23, 2024, Mr. Auerhahn states “… [t]he check is in the mail…” In light of the above, it is unnecessary to opine on the Department’s petition to charge for time spent segregating or redacting responsive records.
