Director of Public Records City of Boston 1 City Hall Square Boston, MA 02201 Dear Attorney Williams: I have received the petition of Mitchell Kosht, Esq. appealing the nonresponse of the Boston Police Department (Department) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On September 10, 2024, Attorney Kosht requested, “[a]ll investigatory reports, summary memoranda, witness statements, or other internal documents related to the sustained internal affairs complaint(s) against [an identified individual] for an incident occurring on or about October 4, 2010, as listed in the Peace Officer Standards and Trainings Database of Sustained Allegations and Disciplinary Actions by Agency (Allegations #s: A-00001906; A-00001907; A-00001908; A-00001909; A-00001910).” Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Attorney Kosht petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR24/2694, was opened as a result. In an email dated September 27, 2024, Attorney Kosht informed this office that he wishes to withdraw his appeal. Accordingly, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed.
