See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On October 10, 2024, Attorney Kenny requested “copies of the barn Inspection booklet and/or barn Inspections for the Town of East Bridgewater for the year 2023.” The Department responded on October 24, 2024. Unsatisfied with the Department’s response, Attorney Kenny petitioned this office, and this appeal, SPR24/2916, was opened as a result. Subsequent to the opening of this appeal, I learned that the Department intends to provide a supplemental response to Attorney Kenny. Accordingly, said response must be provided in a manner consistent with the Public Records Law and its Regulations within ten business days. A copy of any such response must be provided to this office. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of the response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. If issues remain unresolved, Attorney Kenny may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s supplemental response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
