Mason appealing the response of the Town of Dalton (Town) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On September 8, 2024, Mr. Mason requested “… a copy of the internal affairs investigation folder involving [an identified individual] in May of 2020 … includ[ing] the initial complaint of notification … emails …updates and findings.” Previous Appeal This request was the subject of a previous appeal. See SPR24/2850 Determination of the Supervisor of Records (October 24, 2024). The Town provided a response on October 24, 2024. Unsatisfied with the response, Mr. Mason petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR24/2934, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Town provided Mr. Mason with a supplemental response on October 29, 2024. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the Town’s October 24th response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed.
