Beckta appealing the response of the City of Everett (City) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On October 15, 2024. Ms. Beckta requested “the city’s policy on who gets to take a city-owned vehicle to and from work, whether the city also provides gas for the vehicle, whether they can use their city vehicle as their personal vehicle at home… if they’re only allowed to and from work, how the mileage is tracked…” The City responded on October 29, 2024. Unsatisfied with the City’s response, Ms. Beckta petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR24/2979, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the City provided a further response to Ms. Beckta on November 5, 2024. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the City’s October 29, 2024 response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed, Ms. Beckta may appeal the substantive nature of the City’s November 5th response within ninety (90) days.
