Buckley appealing the response of the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On October 27, 2024, Mr. Buckley requested “surveillance video of the Commuter Rail platform (Track #1) at Quincy Center Station from 1800 hrs to 1815 hrs (6:00PM to 6:15PM) on Sunday, October 27, 2024.” The City responded on October 28, 2024. Unsatisfied with the response, Mr. Buckley petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR24/2991, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the MBTA intends on providing a supplemental response to Mr. Buckley. Accordingly, the MBTA is ordered to provide Mr. Buckley with said response in accordance with the Public Records Law, its Regulations and this order within ten business days. A copy of any such response must be provided to this office. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of the response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us.
