The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records November 15, 2024 SPR24/3011 Cassandra Chung Records Access Officer Office of the Treasurer and Receiver General 1 Ashburton Place, 12th Floor Boston, MA 02108 Dear Ms. Chung: I have received the petition of Anthony Bucci appealing the response of the Office of the Treasurer and Receiver General (Office) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On October 24, 2024, Mr. Bucci requested, “all notes, videos, transcripts, recordings, records, rulings, and any documents and information regarding [a hearing on September 28, 2023].” The Office provided a response on October 29, 2024. Unsatisfied with the Office’s response, Mr. Bucci petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR24/3011, was opened as a result. It is my understanding that the Office intends on providing a supplemental response. Accordingly, the Office is ordered to provide Mr. Bucci with said response in accordance with the Public Records Law, its Regulations and this order within ten business days. A copy of any such response must be provided to this office. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of the response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. Mr. Bucci may appeal the substantive nature of the Office’s response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
