Hassett Drive Medford, MA 02155 Dear Ms. Spencer: I have received the petition of Mike Korcynski appealing the response of the City of Medford (City) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On September 27, 2024, Mr. Korcynski requested, “records created or received pertaining to Tufts University and the construction of a new dormitory … Specifically I’m interested in records created or received between July 1, 2024 and today.” The City provided responsive records on October 31, 2024. Unsatisfied with the City’s response, Mr. Korcynski petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR24/3036, was opened as a result. Subsequently, the City provided a supplemental response on November 13, 2024. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the City’s October 31st response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Korcynski may appeal the substantive nature of the City’s November 13th response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
