The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records November 13, 2024 SPR24/3058 Liza Landy Town Clerk Town of Rockland 242 Union Street Rockland, MA 02370 Dear Ms. Landy: I have received the petition of Mary Parsons appealing the response of the Town of Rockland (Town) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On October 21, 2024, Ms. Parsons requested, “copies of the Zoning Board of Appeals open session and executive sessions (ZBA) meetings for February 6, 2024, February 16, 2024, April 2, 2024, April 16, 2024, September 10, 2024.” The Town responded on October 31, 2024. Unsatisfied with the Town’s response, Ms. Parsons petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR24/3058, was opened as a result Subsequent to the opening of this appeal, I learned that the Town provided a supplemental response by email to Ms. Parsons and this office on November 12, 2024. As this appeal was opened based on the Town’s October 31, 2024 response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. If unresolved issues remain, Ms. Parsons may further appeal the substantive nature of the Town’s November 12th response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
