Blake Morris, Esq., appealing the response of the Office of the Attorney General (AGO) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On October 28, 2024, Attorney Morris requested, “[a]ll documents and records submitted to Massachusetts Attorney General - Non-Profit Organizations/Public Charities Division by [an identified individual] in years 2023 and 2024 in the matter regarding [identified individuals] National Alliance of HUD Tenants (NAHT), and NAHT Board of Directors.” The AGO responded on November 12, 2024. Unsatisfied with the response, Attorney Morris petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR24/3064, was opened as a result. It is my understanding that the AGO intends on providing a further response to Attorney Morris. Accordingly, the AGO is to provide Attorney Morris with said response in a manner consistent with the Public Records Law and its Regulations within 10 business days. A copy of the response must be provided to this office. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of the response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us.
