The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records November 18, 2024 SPR24/3079 Paul J. Iversen Records Access Officer City of Framingham 150 Concord Street, Room B-37 Framingham, MA 01702 Dear Mr. Iversen: I have received the petition of Geoffrey Epstein appealing the response of the City of Framingham (City) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On August 20, 2024, Mr. Epstein requested “[a]ll contracts executed with Beta Group (https://www.beta-inc.com/) in the last 5 years[, and] [t]otal payments made to Beta Group in each of the last 5 fiscal years.” On September 4, 2024, the City provided a response. Unsatisfied with the City’s response, Mr. Epstein petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR24/3079, was opened as a result. Subsequent to the opening of this appeal, this office was notified by Mr. Epstein via emails on November 13, 2024 and November 14, 2024 that he received a satisfactory response from the City, and he wishes to withdraw the administrative appeal. Accordingly, per Mr. Epstein’s request to withdraw his appeal, I will consider this administrative appeal closed.
