The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records December 3, 2024 SPR24/3155 Blythe Robinson Acting Town Manager Town of Bridgewater 66 Central Square Bridgewater, MA 02324 Dear Ms. Robinson: I have received the petition of Mark Peterson appealing the response of the Town of Bridgewater (Town) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On October 29, 2024, Mr. Peterson requested, “[w]ritten communications … relating to the selection process and procurement of 3rd party peer reviews of the 0 Lakeshore Center matter (aka Claremont Hotel, aka Hilton Garden Inn, aka HGI, etc...) before the Conservation Commission, between Bridgewater town staff members, Conservation Commission members, applicants, engineering firms, and candidate 3rd party reviewers.” The Town provided a response on November 18, 2024. Unsatisfied with the Town’s response, Mr. Peterson petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR24/3155, was opened as a result. Subsequently, the Town provided a supplemental response on November 25, 2024. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the Town’s November 18th response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Peterson may appeal the substantive nature of the Town’s November 25th response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
