The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records December 11, 2024 SPR24/3258; SPR24/3261; SPR24/3262 Timothy J. Cruise City Clerk City of Brockton 45 School Street Brockton, MA 02301 Dear Mr. Cruise: I have received the petition of Andrew McIsaac appealing the nonresponse of the City of Brockton (City) to three requests for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). In three separate requests on November 17, 2024, Mr. McIsaac requested the following: SPR24/3258 “all e-mail messages sent to/sent from, between November 10, 2024 and November 15, 2024, [a specified email address] containing the words ‘encampment’ and/or ‘homeless’.” SPR24/3261 “all e-mail messages sent to/sent from, between November 10, 2024 and November 15, 2024, [a specified email address] containing the words ‘encampment’ and/or ‘homeless’.” SPR24/3262 “all e-mail messages sent to/sent from, between November 10, 2024 and November 15, 2024, [a specified email address] containing the words ‘encampment’ and/or ‘homeless’.” Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Mr. McIsaac petitioned this office and the following appeals, SPR24/3258; SPR24/3261; SPR24/3262, were opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the City provided Mr. McIsaac with a response on December 6, 2024. Where these appeals were opened as a result of the City’s lack of a written response(s), I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. It is my understanding that Mr. McIsaac has One Ashburton Place, Room 1719, Boston, Massachusetts 02108 • (617) 727-2832• Fax: (617) 727-5914 sec.state.ma.us/pre • pre@sec.state.ma.us Timothy J.
