The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records December 18, 2024 SPR24/3321 Paul J. Iversen Records Access Officer Framingham Police Department 150 Concord Street Framingham, MA 01702 Dear Mr. Iversen: I have received the petition of Patrick Mason appealing the response of the Framingham Police Department (Department) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On December 8, 2024, Mr. Mason requested, “a copy of the motor vehicle crash report and issued citations for report number 24-007549…” The Department responded on December 10, 2024, providing records. Unsatisfied with the response, Mr. Mason petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR24/3321, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Department provided a further response on December 18, 2024. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the Department’s December 10th response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Mason may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s December 18th response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records cc: Patrick Mason Kristen Sullivan One Ashburton Place, Room 1719, Boston, Massachusetts 02108 • (617) 727-2832• Fax: (617) 727-5914 sec.state.ma.us/pre • pre@sec.state.ma.us
