See G. L. c. 66, § l0A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On October 3, 2024, Ms. Grant requested “... all of [an identified] Trooper’s text messages from 2/7/2020-6/1/2021.” The Office responded on December 12, 2024. Unsatisfied with the Office’s response, Ms. Grant petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR24/3361, was opened as a result. It is my understanding that the Office intends on providing a further response to Ms. Grant. Accordingly, the Office is ordered to provide Ms. Grant with said response in a manner consistent with the Public Records Law and its Regulations within 10 business days. A copy of any such response must be provided to this office. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of the response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. Ms. Grant may appeal the substantive nature of the Office’s response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
