The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records January 23, 2025 SPR25/0086 Ellen Leicher Town of Harvard 13 Ayer Road Harvard, MA 01451 Dear Ms. Leicher: I have received the petition of Deborah Skauen appealing the response of the Town of Harvard (Town) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On January 9, 2025, Ms. Skauen requested, “the Climate Initiative Committee’s proposed tree by law.” The Town provided a response on January 9, 2025. Unsatisfied with the Town’s response, Ms. Skauen petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR25/0086, was opened as a result. Subsequently, the Town provided a supplemental response on January 10, 2025. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the Town’s January 9th response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. Skauen may appeal the substantive nature of the Town’s January 10th response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records cc: Deborah Skauen One Ashburton Place, Room 1719, Boston, Massachusetts 02108 • (617) 727-2832 • Fax: (617) 727-5914 sec.state.ma.us/pre • pre@sec.state.ma.us
