The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records January 29, 2025 SPR25/0140 Shannon O’ Donnell Records Access Officer Massachusetts Port Authority One Harborside Drive, Suite 200S East Boston, MA 02128-2909 Dear Ms. O’Donnell: I have received the petition of Chris Thomson appealing the response of the Massachusetts Port Authority (Massport) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On January 2, 2025, Mr. Thomson requested: …a copy of the CCTV footage of the drop off area at Terminal C, Departures Level at Logan Airport due to an incident … Time of incident was between 3:25 pm and 4:00 pm on January 1st, 2025. [A specified vehicle] was parted towards the rear of one of the drop off lanes but I require footage of the surrounding area. On January 3, 2025, Massport provided a response, asking if any additional information regarding the incident could be provided. In an email to this office on January 17, 2025, Mr. Thomson indicated, “…I don’t have any additional info over what was previously forwarded…” Subsequently, I learned that Massport provided Mr. Thomson with a further response on January 28, 2025, which included responsive records. Where this appeal was opened as a result of Massport’s January 3rd response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Thomson may appeal the substantive nature of Massport’s January 28th response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records cc: Chris Thomson One Ashburton Place, Room 1719, Boston, Massachusetts 02108 • (617) 727-2832• Fax: (617) 727-5914 sec.state.ma.us/pre • pre@sec.state.ma.us
