Assistant District Attorney Records Access Officer Norfolk District Attorney’s Office 45 Shawmut Road Canton, MA 02021 Dear Attorney Hunt: I have received the petition of Annemarie Grant appealing the response of the Norfolk County District Attorney’s Office (Office) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § l0A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On October 3, 2024, Ms. Grant requested “... all of [an identified] Trooper’s text messages from 2/7/2020-6/1/2021.” Prior Appeal The requested records were the subject of a prior appeal. See SPR24/3361 Determination of the Supervisor of Records (December 27, 2024). In my December 27th determination, it was my understanding that the Office intended on providing a further response to Ms. Grant. The Office provided a response on January 14, 2025. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the Office’s January 14, 2025 response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. Grant may appeal the substantive nature of the Office’s February 3rd response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
