Sass Town Clerk & Registrar Town of Randolph 41 South Main Street Randolph, MA 02368 Dear Ms. Sass: I have received the petition of Martha Barrows appealing the response of the Town of Randolph (Town) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On December 9, 2024, Ms. Barrows requested emails: [1] to [an identified individual] from [a specified email address], from November 8, 2024 to the present[;] [2] from [an identified individual] to [a specified email address], from November 8, 2024 to the present[.] The Town responded on December 9, 2024. Unsatisfied with the Town’s response, Ms. Barrows petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR25/0176, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Town provided a further response to Ms. Barrows on January 22, 2025. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the Town’s December 9th response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. Barrows may appeal the substantive nature of the Town’s January 22nd response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
