The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records January 24, 2025 SPR25/0211 Erik B. Rousseau Administrator and CEO Southeastern Regional Transit Authority 700 Pleasant Street, Suite 320 New Bedford, MA 02740 Dear Mr. Rousseau: I have received the petition of Geraldine Mullaly appealing the nonresponse of the Southeastern Regional Transit Authority (Authority) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On January 8, 2025, Ms. Mullaly requested, “[a] copy of the current membership as I know the Swansea reps have been replaced.” Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Ms. Mullaly petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR25/0211, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Authority provided Ms. Mullaly with a response on January 24, 2025. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the Authority’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. Mullaly may appeal the substantive nature of the Authority’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records cc: Geraldine Mullaly One Ashburton Place, Room 1719, Boston, Massachusetts 02108 • (617) 727-2832 • Fax: (617) 727-5914 sec.state.ma.us/pre • pre@sec.state.ma.us
