Diaz appealing the nonresponse of the Springfield Police Department (Department) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On December 20, 2024, Mr. Diaz requested: [1] All 911 calls received from: [a specified address] for the Time Period: Jan. 1, 2021 – Aug. 1, 2021 [2] All police reports related to [a specified address] for the time period: Jan. 1, 2021 – Aug. 1, 2021[.] Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Mr. Diaz petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR25/0280, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Department provided Mr. Diaz with a response on February 10, 2025. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the Department’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed.
