See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On January 22, 2025, Ms. Palmer requested, for the period of Oct 1, 2024, through Dec 31, 2024, “all data available regarding monthly revenues, minutes, and volumes (or number of calls) for phone calls, video calls and e-messages by incarcerated people in your custody.” Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Ms. Palmer petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR25/0450, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Department provided Ms. Palmer with a response on January 29, 2025. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the Department’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. Palmer may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
