The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records February 19, 2025 SPR25/0482 Anne Drouin City Clerk City of Methuen 41 Pleasant Street, Room 112 Methuen, MA 01844 Dear Ms. Drouin: I have received the petition Gregory Gallant appealing the response of the City of Methuen (City) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On January 20, 2025, Mr. Gallant requested copies of email communications between several City departments and several identified City employees, for the time period January 1, 2018 to January 1, 2020. The City provided responses on February 3 and February 18, 2025. Unsatisfied with the City’s responses, Mr. Gallant petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR25/0482, was opened as a result. In an email communication to this office on February 19, 2025, Mr. Gallant indicated that he did not wish to proceed with his appeal. Accordingly, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Sincerely, Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records cc: Gregory Gallant One Ashburton Place, Room 1719, Boston, Massachusetts 02108 • (617) 727-2832• Fax: (617) 727-5914 sec.state.ma.us/pre • pre@sec.state.ma.us
