The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records March 14, 2025 SPR25/0611 Seah Levy Public Records Access Officer City of Cambridge 795 Massachusetts Avenue Cambridge, MA 02139 Dear Ms. Levy: I have received the petition of Heather Hoffman, Esq. appealing the response of the City of Cambridge (City) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On February 2, 2025, Attorney Hoffman requested all communications between two identified individuals, from January 1, 2023 to February 2, 2025. The City provided a response on February 18, 2025. Unsatisfied with the City’s response, Attorney Hoffman petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR25/0611, was opened as a result. It is my understanding that the City intends on providing a further response to Attorney Hoffman. Accordingly, the City is ordered to provide Attorney Hoffman with said response, in a manner consistent with this order, the Public Records Law and its Regulations within ten business days. A copy of any such response must be provided to this office. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of the response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us.
