See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On February 27, 2025, Ms. Hare requested “…further information regarding UMass Chan’s Visitor Management procedures.” Specifically, Ms. Hare is seeking “…a documented timeline of the policy from its origination to the present, including all updates since its implementation… [and]… the rationale behind the Visitor Management policy.” The University responded twice on February 27, 2025, and again on February 28, 2025. Unsatisfied with the University’s responses, Ms. Hare petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR25/0723, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the University responded to Ms. Hare’s request with a further response sent on March 17, 2025. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the University’s February 27 and February 28, 2025 responses, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. Hare may appeal the substantive nature of the University’s March 17th response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
