The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records April 8, 2025 SPR25/0855 Amanda Williams Records Clerk Brookline Police Department 350 Washington Street Brookline, MA 02445 Dear Ms. Williams: I have received the petition of Alfred DiGregorio appealing the response of the Brookline Police Department (Department) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On March 11, 2025, Mr. DiGregorio requested “…any and all documents or reports that your station might maintain regarding or make mention of [an identified individual]. Additionally, please provide any and all documents or reports that your station might maintain regarding or make mention of [an identified individual].” Previous Appeal This request was the subject of a previous appeal. See SPR25/0847 Determination of the Supervisor of Records (March 28, 2025). In my March 28th determination, I learned that the Department provided Mr. DiGregorio with a response on March 27, 2025. Unsatisfied with the Department’s response, Mr. DiGregorio petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR25/0855, was opened as a result. It is my understanding that the Department intends on providing a further response to Mr. DiGregorio. Accordingly, the Department is ordered to provide Mr. DiGregorio with said response in accordance with the Public Records Law, its Regulations and this order within ten business days. A copy of any such response must be provided to this office. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of the response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us.
