The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records April 15, 2025 SPR25/0904 Michael Seery Town Clerk Town of Brookfield 6 Central Street Brookfield, MA 01506 Dear Mr. Seery: I have received the petition of Christopher Kelleher appealing the response of the Town of Brookfield (Town) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On February 28, 2025, Mr. Kelleher requested “communications regarding scheduling efforts for a Brookfield Cable Advisory Committee meeting, as well as justifications for meeting delays.” Previous Appeal This request was the subject of a previous appeal. See SPR25/0745 Determination of the Supervisor of Records (March 27, 2025). In my March 27th determination, I ordered the Town to provide Mr. Kelleher with a response to his request. Subsequently, the Town responded on March 31, 2025. Unsatisfied with the Town’s response, Mr. Kelleher petitioned this office, and this appeal, SPR25/0904, was opened as a result. Subsequent to the opening of this appeal, I learned that the Town provided a supplemental response by email to Mr. Kelleher and this office on April 14, 2025. As this appeal was opened based on the Town’s March 31st response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. If unresolved issues remain, Mr. Kelleher may further appeal the substantive nature of the School’s April 14th response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
