See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On January 25, 2025, Mr. Casdin requested “Body cam and Dash cam footage for [an identified] trooper . . . out of the Northampton Barracks (B-5) between the time of 5:30pm and 7:30pm (June 6th 2024).” Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Mr. Casdin petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR25/1003, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Department provided Mr. Casdin with a response on April 16, 2025. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the Department’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Casdin may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
