The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records April 17, 2025 SPR25/1011 Officer Daniel Griffith Holliston Police Court Prosecutor Holliston Police Department 550 Washington Street Holliston, MA 01746 Dear Officer Griffith: I have received the petition of Jenna Lewis, of the Committee for Public Counsel Services Strategic Litigation Unit, appealing the nonresponse of the Holliston Police Department (Department) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On March 19, 2025, Ms. Lewis requested: [1] The following internal affairs report numbers: IA 14-3[;] [2] Any and all internal affairs reports for sustained allegations of “Truthfulness or Professional Integrity” pertaining to the following officers: … Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Ms. Lewis petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR25/1011, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Department provided Ms. Lewis with a response on April 15, 2025. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the Department’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. Lewis may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
