See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On April 9, 2025, Ms. Ducey requested “all body cam footage from all officers present during the search warrant execution on 3/29/25. Search warrant docket number 2564sw26.” The Department responded on April 22, 2025. Unsatisfied with the Department’s response, Ms. Ducey petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR25/1132, was opened as a result. Based on a telephone conversation between the Department and this office on April 28, 2025, I learned that the Department intends to provide a supplemental response to Ms. Ducey. Accordingly, said response must be provided in a manner consistent with the Public Records Law and its Regulations within ten (10) business days. A copy of any such response must be provided to this office. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of the response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. Ms. Ducey may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s supplemental response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R 32.08(1).
