Nadolny, of the Boston Globe, appealing the response of the City of Springfield (City) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On May 8, 2025, Ms. Nadolny requested “any police reports generated from incidents that took place at [a specified address on] Maple Street in October 2022.” The City responded on May 22, 2025, and assigned reference number 25-1528 to this request. Unsatisfied with the City’s response, Ms. Nadolny petitioned this office, and this appeal, SPR25/1463, was opened as a result. Subsequent to the opening of this appeal, the City provided a further response to Ms. Nadolny and this office on June 5, 2025 In an email to this office and the City on June 5, 2025, Ms. Nadolny states that “you can close my appeal.” In light of Ms. Nadolny’s June 5th email, I will now consider this appeal closed.
