See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On April 9, 2025, Ms. Mills requested, “all emails received by [an identified] . . . former deputy director of human resources, from [an identified representative of the] executive office of public safety, and security, for the dates of October 1 2024 through February 1, 2025[.]” The Department provided a response on April 22, 2025, indicating that it was “actively working on completing [the] request” and noting that it would “send any potentially responsive records at [the Department’s] earliest convenience.” Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Ms. Mills petitioned this office, and this appeal, SPR25/1500, was opened as a result. Subsequently, the Department provided a supplemental response on June 9, 2025, which included responsive records. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the Department’s April 22nd response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. Mills may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s June 9th response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
