Congel Town Clerk Town of Wellfleet 300 Main Street Wellfleet, MA 02667 Dear Ms. Congel: I have received the petition of Sarah Nichols appealing the nonresponse of the Town of Wellfleet (Town) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On May 16, 2025, Ms. Nichols requested “[w]hat properties that pay under $400 in property tax purchased a visitor beach sticker in 2024 and/or 2023.” Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Ms. Nichols petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR25/1570, was opened as a result. In an email to this Office on June 12, 2025, Ms. Nichols stated “I received a satisfactory response from the town of Wellfleet.” Accordingly, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. Nichols may appeal the substantive nature of the City’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
