The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records June 10, 2025 SPR25/1577 Allison Mondello Records Access Officer Department of State Police 50 Maple Street Milford, MA 01757 Dear Ms. Mondello: I have received the petition of Christopher Bianchi appealing the nonresponse of the Department of State Police (Department) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On May 19, 2025, Mr. Bianchi requested the following: [1] All dashboard camera (dash cam) footage related to traffic citation … issued on May 14, 2025 at approximately 07:00 PM at Day BLVD, South Boston, MA [2] All body-worn camera footage from the officer(s) involved in the traffic stop resulting in citation … issued on May 14, 2025 [3] All and any records related to citation … Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Mr. Bianchi petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR25/1577, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Department provided the requestor with a response on June 9, 2025. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the Department’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. The requestor may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
