First Assistant Town Attorney Town of West Springfield 26 Central Street West Springfield, MA 01089 Dear Attorney Wellhoff: I have received the petition of Kristine Barberi appealing the response of the Town of West Springfield (Town) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On May 18, 2025, Ms. Barberi requested, “. . . the police crash report, police report and accident reconstuction [sic] report for 12-15-14 around 10:30 on Elm near the post office.” The Town responded on June 5, 2025. Unsatisfied with the response and claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Ms. Barberi petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR25/1644, was opened as a result. Subsequently, in an email dated June 11, 2025, Ms. Barberi informed this office that she “received the information requested from the town this morning.” Conclusion Accordingly, where the Town has provided Ms. Barberi with the responsive records, I will consider this administrative appeal closed.
