The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records July 9, 2025 SPR25/1800 Seah Levy Public Records Access Officer City of Cambridge 795 Massachusetts Avenue Cambridge, MA 02139 Dear Ms. Levy: I have received the petition of Sue Reinert, of CambridgeDay, appealing the response of the City of Cambridge (City) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On June 4, 2025, Ms. Reinert requested a “...copy of the Cambridge Police Department’s co-response policies and a copy of the memorandum of understanding with North Suffolk Mental Health regarding CPD co-response.” The City responded on June 12, 2025. Unsatisfied with the response, Ms. Reinert petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR25/1800, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the City provided a further response to Ms. Reinert on July 8, 2025 response. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the City’s June 12th response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. Reinert may appeal the substantive nature of the City’s July 8th response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records cc: Sue Reinert One Ashburton Place, Room 1719, Boston, Massachusetts 02108 • (617) 727-2832• Fax: (617) 727-5914 sec.state.ma.us/pre • pre@sec.state.ma.us
