See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On June 10, 2025, Ms. Hanora requested: [1] MOU, contract, and/or any written agreement between the MA DOC and/or EOPSS and the Vera Institute of Justice[;] [2] Any meeting dates, agendas, and notes between MA DOC and/or EOPSS staff and representatives of Vera Institute of Justice[;] [3] Any work plans, proposals, or timelines pertaining to the Vera Institute of Justice[;] [4] The MA DOC/EOPSS application to the Vera Institute of Justice[;] [5] Any work products submitted to the MA DOC and/or EOPSS by the Vera Institute of Justice[;] [6] The survey sent into MA DOC prisons including MCI-Framingham related to the Designed for Dignity project[;] [7] The names and titles of any Massachusetts state employees and elected officials involved in the Designed for Dignity project[;] [8] Any data about the MA DOC submitted to the Vera Institute for Justice[.] Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Ms. Hanora petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR25/1899, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Department provided Ms. Hanora with a response on July 11, 2025. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the Department’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed.
