The request was assigned Reference #R002509-051925. On May 27, 2025, I received an email indicating the preliminary search yielded 42,259 responsive emails and a request to consider narrowing the scope before the City provided me with a fee estimate. On May 28, 2025, I provided a narrowed scope, as suggested. On June 3, 2025, I received an email from the City stating, “Due to the nature of your request, additional time is needed. As such, the City will need up to, but no more than, fifteen (15) additional business days to review and process your request.” The email noted this extension was pursuant to G. L. c. 66, § 10(b)(vi); 950 CMR 32.06(2)(i). Due to this extension, I should have received the records by June 18, 2025, however, I have not received any records or other communications since. Attached is my request with the confirmation from the public records center that notes my request was received on May 19, 2025 12:06:57 PM. Also attached are the following: May 27, 2025 City of Boston email requesting narrowed scope; my May 28, 2025 email providing narrowed scope; and June 3, 2025 City of Boston email notifying me additional time is needed. Please let me know if you have any questions, or if I can provide further information. Thank you.
