The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records July 10, 2025 SPR25/1973 Sergeant Andrew Devito Records Access Officer Billerica Police Department 6 Good Street Billerica, MA 01821 Dear Sergeant Devito: I have received the petition of Morgan Prescott appealing the response of the Billerica Police Department (Department) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On June 3, 2025, Ms. Prescott requested “the official police report for a hit-and-run accident that occurred on May 28, 2024, at approximately 6:25 AM on Pond Street en route to Lexington, MA.” The Department responded on June 4, 2025, June 6, 2025 and July 8, 2025. Unsatisfied with the Department’s responses, Ms. Prescott petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR25/1973, was opened as a result. Subsequent to the opening of this appeal, I learned that the Department provided Ms. Prescott with a further response on July 9, 2025. In an email dated July 10, 2025, Ms. Prescott informed this office that she wishes to withdraw her appeal. Accordingly, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Sincerely, Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records cc: Morgan Prescott
