See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On June 16, 2025, Mr. & Ms. Burden sought the following: [1] [A]ny and all documents that have been sent from any Town of Lunenburg employee (town and police staff) to any member of the Massachusetts Attorney General Office (criminal unit, public records division, etc.)[;] [2] [A]ny and all documents that have been sent to any Town of Lunenburg employee (town and police staff) from any member of the Massachusetts Attorney General Office (criminal unit, public records division, etc.). Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Mr. & Ms. Burden petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR25/2008, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Town provided Mr. & Ms. Burden with a response on July 19, 2025. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the Town’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. & Ms. Burden may appeal the substantive nature of the Town’s July 19th response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
